#Registration
Registration in STUD BOOK OF KATHIAWADI HORSE BREED IN INDIA, is a very scientific process as per the guidelines of STUD BOOK AUTHORITY OF INDIA (SBAI), Pune. This is approved by the Gujarat State – Animal Husbandry Department and project is managed by the KATHIAWADI HORSE BREEDERS ASSOCIATION Gujarat ( KHBA). All ‘Kathiawadi horse which are or nearly ‘ True to Breeds Characteristics’ will be thoroly checked by the STUD BOOK registration Committee Members of KHBA, and then Registered in Stud Book.
#DNA Mapping
This is again very special scientific process done by the authorized Laboratory of SBAI at Pune, with all registered Kathiawadi Horses Hair and Blood samples drawn by the Committee Members of KHBA during the Stud Book registration process.
# Micro chipping
A special Microchip is insterted in withers of Kathiawadi horse with a unique 12 digit number which is an identification of a particular horse for lifetime.
#Horse Passport
A horse passport is documentation that allows horses to be accurately identified and more easily be transported internationally. This will be issued by the KHBA and dully approved by the Animal Husbandry Department of Gujarat State and SBAI, Pune.
#Horse Shows
Annual even to show your Best Kathiawadi breed Horses , which is organized by the KHBA with the financial help from the Animal Husbandry Department of Gujarat state.
# Seminars
Horse Seminars are organized by the KHBA with the help of Animal Husbandry Department of Gujarat State to educate the Horse Breeders and Owners in Rural areas.
